Writing can feel good

Everyone’s got a book in them, but getting it out is a whole different story.

Maybe you don’t know where to start. Maybe your story has gotten lost. Or maybe writer’s block, procrastination, or perfectionism are holding your words hostage.

It doesn’t have to be like this.

I started Rainy Day Words to help struggling writers rediscover their motivation and their muse so that they can fall in love with writing again. Instead of telling you to hustle and write thousands of words a day, I help you get your thoughts in order so that you can get all the way to the end of your book while feeling good about writing.

I can help you

» Plan a novel you’re excited to write.

» Craft characters your readers will love – and that you’ll love writing.

» Build a writing habit that feels effortless.

» Overcome writer’s block and make writing fun again.

About me

Clare Stark is a writer of millions of words, everything from short stories to novels.

So she knows the struggle. With working full time and running an Etsy store on the side, finishing a novel as well seemed impossible. Add to that all those run-ins with writers block and perfectionism and she was beginning to despair.

So she tried another tactic: finding out what was causing her to get stuck. She read books, articles, guides, you name it. Everything she could find on why people get stuck partway through a project – and how to get unstuck.
Rainy Day Words is what came out of that research.

Clare can help you figure out what’s getting in your way and how to get past it. Even better, you’ll be equipped with the tools to help you overcome blocks when you stumble over them again in the future.
